Lying not too far from the foothills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains is one of the four former imperial cities. The city of Marrakech and its contrasting landscape homes our Marrakech Location.

This enchanting city is, in a way, split into two different cities merged into something magical. The Medina, or the historical city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a series of intimate courtyards and snaking alleyways that are perfect for exploration. The Gueliz or Ville Nouvelle are neighborhoods that border with the historical city – these neighborhoods are modern and have a European feel that compliment the Medina.

The city of Marrakesh is regarded as the gateway to Africa and is amongst the busiest cities in the North of the African continent. Marrakesh serves as a major hub for tourism and is an economic hub. The city is big and has a large population which could make traveling through the city’s airport overwhelming. However, traveling through Marrakech Menara Airport [IATA: RAK, ICAO: GMMX] doesn’t have to be a hassle when you can be streamlined through our Marrakech Location.

Landing in Marrakech

Travel is just exciting and taking the time to learn about a new destination is eye-opening and grounding. Whether you’re traveling for leisure or business, going through a busy airport can be irritating. So, why travel frazzled when you can travel well with Jetex?

Our Marrakech Location is equipped and ready to handle any of your requests:

  • Obtaining Overflight Permits
  • Flight Planning
  • Entry & Landing Permits

  • Concierge Services
  • Car Parking Facilities
  • In-flight Catering
  • Passenger Lounge
  • Crew Lounge
  • Multilingual Staff
  • Security Services
  • Aircraft Maintenance
  • Arrival & Departure Slots

An Unbeatable Location

Getting around this split city can sometimes be a little confusing but getting around doesn’t take much time. Heading over to the mystical Bahia Palace from the busy airport will only take 14 minutes. Going over to the Jardin Majorelle will only take a 17-minute car ride. The Djemaa El Fna is only 15 minutes away from the airport, too.

For Your Aircraft

The Marrakech Menara Airport has an adequate runway to accommodate for any kind of aircraft at 10,171-ft [~3100 meters] long. This location also offers aircraft maintenance, just let the Jetex team know, and we’ll get everything setup and ready to go.

This year marks the 71st year of one of the biggest conventions in the US, NBAA-BACE.

As always, the National Business Aviation Association [NBAA] brought together aviation professionals for one of the most significant aviation conferences and exhibition in the United States. The 2018 NBAA Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition [NBAA-BACE] took place at the Orange County Convention Center [OCCC] in Orlando, Florida. Of course, Jetex and our popular orange booth was there!

NBAA-BACE: Amongst The Greatest

The annual conference and exhibition attracted around 25,000 attendees and had about 100 aircraft models on show in the static display area. This event allowed for nearly 1,000 exhibitors to showcase their latest products, services, and more.

Everyone attending the event also had the opportunity to take part in multiple educational and networking sessions. This year definitely provided an interesting an exciting line up of speakers. The show took a look at the past, the present, and focused on future solutions.

NBAA-BACE, Day One

The first day of the event kicked off by looking towards the future of business aviation. The topic in itself brought excitement and enthusiasm to the professionals attending the conference. The future looks very bright as FAA Acting Administrator, Dan Elwell, shared, “business aviation has always been very helpful when it comes to supporting modernization, especially when it comes to adopting new technologies.” This statement rings very true, especially when companies – like Jetex – are creating collaborations to build future solutions to present-day problems. Find out more about our partnership with Wright Electric here.

The day carried on with news that reaffirmed just how important the business aviation industry is to companies and communities. The Harris Poll conducted a survey that showed the value of business aviation and its benefits. The study pointed out that 51.6% passengers that use private aviation services enjoy the flexibility it offers. Private aviation doesn’t just benefit its passengers but also benefits the locations the passengers are traveling to. According to the survey, 31.5% of the destinations traveled to receive little to no air traffic.

Day one of NBAA-BACE concluded that the business aviation industry pushes boundaries to provide solutions and leads innovation through modernization.

NBAA-BACE, Day Two

The second day celebrated the aviation industry’s past, which had provided the present-day industry with many lessons and the opportunity to fine-tune and redevelop the way forward. 2018 has seen many aeronautical companies pushing boundaries and studying cleaner ways to travel the skies. Companies have been working on developing different aircraft models that can function by using electricity, biofuel, solar power, and more. The day carried on with an educational session that presented attendees with the possibility of blockchain, vertical-take-off and landing, and other innovative software that will shape the industry’s future.

In recent years, companies have been studying and creating ways to develop driverless cars. It only made sense that the NBAA-BACE panel would imagine and consider the possibilities of a pilotless vertical-take-off and landing [VTOL] aircraft – an idea that would reshape and revolutionize urban transportation.

Day two of the event concluded that the way forward is to learn from the past, redevelop the present, and dream of what the future could be.

NBAA-BACE, Day Three

The final day of this convention ended with the NBAA’s fourth annual National Safety Forum. This forum looked at the common operational errors, and examined the human factors that could potentially be cause for an incident. NBAA Chair Gen. Lloyd “Fig” Newton emphasized, “if you have professionalism, then you have safety.”

NBAA-BACE ended with a new found focus on reshaping the industry as it moves forward. Aerobatic Pilot Antony Oshinuga said it best by stating, “you can absolutely do what we do, it just takes training, motivation and dedication” during the NBAA careers discussion.

This convention achieved what it always achieves: brought together aviation professionals and aviation students from all across the globe, reigniting passion and drive to create a brighter, better future!

Abidjan Ivory Coast Location

Bordering with Liberia, Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Ghana is the country of Côte d’Ivoire – otherwise known as the Ivory Coast. This country is known for its beaches and off-the-beaten-track experiences. This country is also home to our Abidjan Location.

The city of Abidjan is located on the Ébrié Lagoon and homes over 4 million people. The economic capital of the Ivory Coast is the most populous French-speaking city in Africa. This city is the second largest metropolis in West Africa, which leads to the assumption that Abidjan is the Ivory Coast’s capital. However, it is not. The capital city of this captivating country is Yamoussoukro.

In 1983, Yamoussoukro earned the designation of political capital. However, almost all political institutions – such as embassies – are still in Abidjan. Abidjan expanded quickly after the 1931 new wharf construction and is now recognized for its high levels of industrialization and urbanization. In 1951, the completion of the Vridi Canal helped the city situate itself as an important seaport.

Both the city and the country have many historical stories to tell, but also offer visitors with the chance to have a trip of a lifetime. Visitors heading to this exciting city have the opportunity to explore the Banco National Park, take in the Galerie Cécile Fakhoury [Contemporary Art Gallery], or walk through the Jordin Botanique de Bingerville [Botanical Garden]. However, passing through Felix-Houphouet-Boigny International Airport [IATA: ABJ, ICAO: DIAP] – the country’s largest airport and European gateway – can be a little overwhelming.

Landing in Abidjan

Traveling and exploring the world will always be something unique, different, and incredible. Learning, seeing, and working with people from all around the world is definitely enlightening. However, passing through busy and bustling airports can be overwhelming. Why travel tense when you can travel well?

Our Abidjan Location is young and growing. This facility is ready to handle our customers’ requests and complete their journey with renowned services:

  • Obtaining Overflight Permits
  • Flight Planning
  • Entry & Landing Permits
  • Ground Handling

  • Executive Lounge
  • Crew Lounge

An Unbeatable Location

Getting around the country’s economic hub is not tricky. However, cutting your airports journey time by more than half means that you can get to your destination even sooner. Getting to the Banco National Park to explore nature’s beauty is just a 37-minute drive from the airport. Taking in the artistic twists at the Galerie Cécile Fakhoury will take a 40-minute drive. Relaxing at the Botanical Garden is only a 26-minute drive. The journey begins by being streamlined. Traveling to remote places like l’île Boulay is achievable by plane or boat, that the Jetex team can arrange for you.

For Your Aircraft

Aviation Business Awards 2018

This year is proving to be another exciting year for Jetex with another win celebrating our achievements and promise of excellence.

For the second year in a row, we are very pleased to announce that the Jetex Dubai FBO earned the crown of “FBO of the Year” at the 2018 Aviation Business Awards. Receiving this prestigious award is a testament to our impeccable standard of service at our Dubai facility based at the VIP Private Jet Terminal at Al Maktoum Airport.

This flagship facility expanded last year, increasing our space from roughly 10,000-ft2 [~950-m2] to 16,000-ft2 [~1,500-m2]. We carried out this expansion to offer our customers, passengers, and crew with a more spacious and comfortable experience. In 2018, our Dubai FBO was the only facility in the MENA region to be IS-BAH Stage 2 certified. This luxurious space caters to the leisure and business traveler and offers an extensive range of services. Passengers and crew passing through our Dubai FBO can rest assured that all their needs are cared for – from flight permits to in-flight catering, transportation, clearances, concierge services, and more.

The Aviation Business Awards provided us with more reasons to celebrate by, once again, highly commending us for “Ground Handler of the Year.” We look forward to displaying our renowned services as the official FBO and ground handler at the 2018 MEBAA show.

Since 2007, the annual Aviation Business Awards has established itself as a center stage ceremony that celebrates the achievements of aerospace companies within the Middle East region. At the 12th edition of this celebratory event our CEO and President, Adel Mardini, presented the award for “Business Aircraft Operator of the Year” to ExecuJet. We would like to congratulate everyone that was awarded at this year’s aerospace awards ceremony.

2017 was a big year for us, find out more here. 2018 has been even better, but 2019 and its innovative promise is yet to come!

Tokyo Japan

One of the cities bordering with the Tokyo Bay is the world’s most populous metropolitan area and the capital of Japan. This city is Tokyo. The city that homes around 39 million residents also homes our Tokyo Locations.

Before the city became known as Tokyo – the Eastern Capital – it was called Edo. The city’s name was changed when Emperor Meiji moved to Edo from Kyoto in 1868. The Metropolis wasn’t formed until 1943 when the Tokyo Prefecture and city of Tokyo merged.

This captivating city is known for its high buildings that create a wonderous skyline, fascination with technology, and respectful culture. Tokyo offers its visitors with endless lists of things to see and do – from visiting and entering Skytree, the tallest tower in the world, to wandering around Sensoji, the oldest temple in the city, or passing through Tsukiji, the biggest fish market in the world.

There are not many cities around the world that offer its visitors the chance to walk through many Cherry Blossom oases scattered through the city, but Tokyo does. The city has seen a boost in aviation and tourism since winning the bid to host the 2019 Rugby World Cup and the 2020 Summer Olympics. This would make traveling through one of the primary airports – Haneda Airport [IATA: HND, ICAO: RJTT] or Narita International Airport [IATA: NRT, ICAO: RJAA] – a bit overwhelming. We can get you through either airport faster by streamlining you through our Tokyo Locations.

Landing in Tokyo

Exploring the different countries around the world – whether for business or tourism – is exhilarating and revitalizing. However, abiding by someone else’s schedule is restricting and frustrating. Especially through the Haneda and Narita airports that are always buzzing with passenger movements. So, why not utilize our services to get you there quicker?

Our Tokyo Locations are equipped and ready to handle any of our customers’ requests:

Navigating through the busy city isn’t difficult. However, getting through the airport terminal quicker means that you reach your destination sooner. Getting to the Sensoji Temple from the Haneda Airport is only a 30-minute drive, and driving to the Fifth Avenue of Tokyo, Ginza, is only 20 minutes. If you’re passing the Narita International Airport, then you could reach the temple in an hour and Ginza in under an hour.

Miami – the third tallest skyline in the U.S – is also the financial, economic, and cultural center of Florida. It comes as no surprise to learn that the Miami downtown area homes the largest concentrations of International Banks as well as National and International companies.
