After winning the Dubai World Cup four times, Italian jockey Dettori now joins Bailey as joint winningmost jockey of the race.

An impressive prize of USD 30.5 million is divided across the nine races on World Cup Day, with the big race offering a purse of USD 12 million, making it one of the richest days of horseracing in the world. The evening culminates in the Dubai World Cup and boasts the highest prize fund of the night at USD 12 million.
