MEBAA Show Morocco returns this September for its second edition. The show will take place at Marrakech Menara Airport, and is fast becoming one of the region’s most important business aviation events. Here, we take a look at what to expect.
North Africa’s Premier Business Aviation Gathering
MEBAA Show Morocco is a two-day outdoor event. The show offers an outstanding platform for business aviation suppliers and providers to showcase their products and services to potential clients. Attendees and exhibitors will benefit from valuable networking opportunities, which enable key industry stakeholders to cultivate fresh relationships both in the local market and beyond.

Attendees mingle at the MEBAA Morocco Show 2015. The event provides extensive networking opportunities.
According to MEBAA, North Africa’s business aircraft fleet has been growing at almost twice the global average rate. The Moroccan market is particularly active, accounting for around half of the region’s aircraft movements. The country also boasts a strategic position, serving as a gateway to Europe and the rest of Africa. This makes it an important destination for business aviation, and the natural choice to host North Africa’s biggest trade show dedicated to the sector.
The 2017 show is expected to attract more than 2,500 attendees, and will host around 50 industry exhibitors. The event will also include a static display area, featuring the latest business aviation aircraft.
The show has been moved to Menara Airport for its second edition in anticipation of increased visitor numbers, following a highly successful inaugural event in 2015. Leading industry names already confirmed for this year’s show include Bell Helicopter, Bombardier, G Ops, Swissport Aviation, Seaprime and Xjet. Meanwhile, Gulfstream has announced it will be unveiling an as yet undisclosed aircraft as part of the static display.

Visitors to the MEBAA Show Morocco have the opportunity to check out the latest business aircraft models side-by-side.

Jetex has cultivated a strong presence in Morocco, operating FBOs at airports in five key destinations. These include Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN/GMMN), Marrakech Menara (RAK/GMMX), Rabat-Salé (RBA/GMME), Agadir-Al Massira (AGA/GMAD), and Dakhla (VIL/GMMH).
Our FBO Terminal in Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK/GMMX) functions as an Airport of Entry (AOE) 24 hours a day. Landing permits are not required for private domestic or international flights. Prior Permission Required (PPR) is not necessary at GMMX. The airport always has a high volume of traffic in terms of aircraft movements. Aircraft parking for General Aviation is available on a first-come first-served basis.
Visas are required upon arrival for passengers and crew, depending on the nationalities of those on board. GenDec and valid passport copies will also be needed.
During important events such as the MEBAA Morocco Show, hotel bookings may be difficult to obtain without advance reservations. The Jetex travel team recommends that operators send their booking requests as early as possible to secure their preferred accommodation.
